Properties:Calcium formate is slightly hygroscopic with a subtle bitter taste. It is neutral, non-toxic, and water-soluble, maintaining neutrality in aqueous solutions. Its solubility remains relatively stable with temperature variations, dissolving at 16g/100g water at 0ºC and increasing slightly to 18.4g/100g water at 100ºC.

In the construction industry, calcium formate acts as a rapid cement solidification agent, lubrication enhancer, and early strength facilitator. Ideal for building mortar and various concrete types, it accelerates cement hardening and reduces setting time.
